So. I begin rehearsals for my new project with Riverside in ONE WEEK. But before that we have one very, very last performance of Endangered by Mark Chrisler at Prop Thtr as part of RhinoFest. You should come. And here's why:
It's a festival of fringe work, so it's fast and dirty and weird. We threw this thing on its feet and it is us being artists with very little care for anyone else's judgement, and despite that, we have had truly incredible responses to the piece. This is a play that, I think, really speaks to men and women deciphering gender and dating politics RIGHT NOW. Every single time we do this show I have amazing conversations with both men and women afterward, alight with feelings and emotions. We've had people cry, we've had people tell us it's the best show they've seen, we've had people LITERALLY overturn chairs and storm out enraged. It's important. You should join us if you are a woman. You should join us if you are a man. You should join us if you're a feminist, you should join us if you think feminists are idiots, you should join us if you've ever been scared or hurt by a member of the opposite gender. You should join us. It's important. See you Saturday.
