The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe at First Folio Theatre
"Christian Gray's on-the-edge-of-collapse Poe is balanced by the winsome and knowing tone struck by Heather Chrisler's wise-beyond-her-years Virginia." -Kerry Ried
Opening tonight! And it's going to be terrifying! The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe at First Folio Theatre.
50 shows in the next 90 days: Something for every taste on this list
Kerry Ried, theatre critic at The Chicago Tribune, just put out a great list of 50 shows to see this autumn in Chicago and I am involved in two of them!
The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe begins previews just a few short days from now at First Folio Theatre! Playing Virginia Poe has been a wonderful and challenging process so far.
And after that I'll be understudying Jane in Fallen Angels at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, one of my favorite plays with one of my favorite theatres!
Also, I got to see The Tempest in dress rehearsal the other week at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and it is absolutely brilliant. So see that.
Friend, and brilliant director, Stefan Brün is doing The Exception and the Rule by Brecht at Prop Thtr.
And my delightful friend, Carolyn Hoerdemann, who I worked with this summer at Door Shakes is appearing in Feathers and Teeth at The Goodman, which I also cannot wait to see!

The Weather has been Gorgeous
Definitely a major perk of working with First Folio Theatre is that you get to enjoy Mayslake while rehearsing at the Peabody Estate. Here are some images from the weekend.
Also, the shows are starting to sell out, so you can purchase tickets here!
Some production photos of Romeo & Juliet this summer at Door Shakespeare!
